Greenways for Nashville is a private, not-for-profit organization raising public awareness and private support for building and preserving greenways throughout Davidson County. Greenways are linear parks and trails connecting residential, commercial, and recreational areas such as neighborhoods, shopping, schools, downtown, and open spaces. Greenways provide green space for conservation, recreation and alternative transportation.

Mark is on the Board of Greenways for Nashville and pledged for 2007 to increase membership by 1000 through efforts led by Village Real Estate Services. Of that 1000, the CityLiving Team pledged to contribute 500 new memberships. To accomplish this goal, the CityLiving Team gave membership gifts to all clients. At the end of 2007, almost 1200 new memberships had been given!
