Midtown

Midtown is loosely defined as the area between Downtown (south of 12th Ave) and I-440. It extends up West End and includes Broadway and Division Street areas. In the heart of Midtown is Vanderbilt University. With undergraduate and graduate students and faculty looking for more residential options in the area, new mid rises and high rises have been built.

In addition to an abundance of residential options, Midtown has a wide variety of shopping and dining options. There are chains such as Stoney River, Ted’s Montana Grill, and Starbucks but also local spots such as Mojo Grill, and Virago. There is a night scene in the areas right around Vanderbilt’s campus and Centennial Park is a popular spot to stroll, walk the dogs, or lay in the sun.

Popular Spots:
- The Acorn
- South Street
- The Boundr’y
- Centennial Park
