SoBro

SoBro stands for “South of Broadway” and is names for its geographic position to the street the runs through Downtown Nashville. Once a very industrial area, new growth and development have led to a rebirth of the area. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center opened in 2006 and spurred more growth including a high rise condo tower and high rise office tower directly opposite it. Growth continued up Hermitage Avenue to Rolling Mill Hill.

SoBro features trendy restaurants like Sole Mio and cultural attractions such as the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. SoBro is relaxed but cutting-edge and has a truly unique vibe. More businesses are relocating here, such as Mad Mod – a popular local contemporary furniture store, and more growth and transition is expected in coming years.
