Home Sales Up 33.8% in October

    Home sales in the Nashville area were up  33.8% in October compared to October of last year. The median sales price rose from $162,000 to $175,100 and the median condo price rose from$139,515 to $157,900.

    Home sales in the Nashville area increased 33.8 percent in October from the same time a year ago, marking the seventh month of improvements in the housing market, according to figures released today by The Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.

    The median sales price for a single-family home in October was $175,100 compared with $162,000 a year ago. The median condominium price was $157,900, up from $139, 515.
