On September 13, 2018, the Urban Land Institute of Kansas City hosted a panel on transformation within the real estate industry. Mark Deutschmann, founder of VILLAGE Real Estate and author of One-Mile Radius: Building Community from the Core, and Othello Meadows, founder of Seventy Five North Revitalization Corporation, spoke on current projects, shared personal stories about community development and how they are positively impacting their communities and the industry as a whole.
ULI Kansas City is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute. Established locally in 1987, today the chapter has nearly 200 members in the Kansas City metro area who advance ULI’s Mission to “provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities.”
