Springtime in Nashville is the perfect time to explore the area’s amazing outdoor activities. We asked our team members for some of their favorite spring hangouts in and around town, and they came up with some great activities to check out. How many of these are you looking forward to trying this spring?
Splash it Up with the Kids at the Downtown Cumberland Splash Park
Downtown Cumberland water park on the east bank is always fun in the spring before it gets too hot! Kids can climb, bounce and play in the water. Everyone can then ride the elevator, walk over the bridge and take in the view of the city.
Catch a Nashville Sounds Game and Hang Out at The Band Box
The Sounds minor league baseball season has begun, and I love relaxing in the outfield by the Band Box. It provides great views, specialty drinks, and party games for the entire nine innings.
Day Trip it to Sewanee, TN
A trip to Sewanee, TN! Sewanee is such an easy, 1.5 hour drive and a perfect day or weekend getaway. We like to get coffee at Stirling’s coffee house, hike, get lunch at Shenanigan’s and walk around campus.
Spend the Afternoon With the Pups at Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint
Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint in Germantown is a great place to go for a juicy burger and lots of different beer options. They have an awesome fenced in “backyard” where you can also bring your pups to play!
