We’re happy to announce that data pulled from the Multiple Listing Services for all of 2010 shows that Village ranks #1 in our market. The stats are pulled per office, so when you see a company listed more than once on the same graph it refers to multiple branches or franchises. For example, when you see Village listed it represents our main office on 21st Ave S, and does not include our other very successful offices in East Nashville and Franklin. The data only refers to Davidson County.
One of the most impressive graphs is the last one showing Days on the Market. On average last year, a Village listing sold in 64 days. Compare that to all the other companies on the graph that range between 85 and 113 days! Part of this is likely due to the fact that Village agents are extremely active in our offices. They interact regularly with one another and our weekly sales meetings are very well attended. Thus, we sell in house on average 33% of the time. Progressive Realty is listed at 46 days but it is important to contextualize that they were selling the majority of HUD homes (foreclosures) which by nature will sell much quicker.
Another stat we like is the Sold Price to Original Price on the list side. Village’s ratio is 96.1%. This means that we get 96.1% of the asking price on our listings. On the flip side, when looking at the sell side, we get 93.7% of the list price for our buyers. We are tough negotiators and price our listings right!
